Aspire People are recruiting a Lunchtime Supervisor to support a welcoming primary school in North Manchester from November through to the end of the academic year. This role offers consistent part-time hours during school days and is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children.

Responsibilities include supervising pupils at lunchtime and outdoor play, helping maintain a safe environment, and supporting children during social times.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children is desirable.
• Confident supervising groups of primary-aged children.
• Calm, patient and approachable.
• Able to manage behaviour positively.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Strong communication skills.
• Committed to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Supervising pupils during lunchtime and outdoor play.
• Helping maintain a safe and positive environment.
• Supporting children during lunch and social times.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and good manners.
• Monitoring pupils during indoor and outdoor activities.
• Supporting children with minor disagreements and friendship issues.
• Ensuring school expectations are followed.
• Reporting any concerns to the appropriate member of staff.
• Working as part of the wider school team.
