Bright Horizons Hinxton Day Nursery & Pre-School is hiring an Early Years Assistant to join the Hinxton team in Cambridge. You’ll help look after children up to age 5, supporting development through play, reading and activities, while collaborating with colleagues and parents.

The role includes a daily shuttle to nearby towns, a discounted gym membership, and options to purchase extra leave, with a commitment to safeguarding and a supportive HEART culture.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children ideal but not essential – Nursery Bank Staff, Nursery Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
• Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents
• Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults

Responsibilities

• As an Early Years Assistant, you will work as part of a team to look after babies and children up to the age of 5.
• You will have adventures with our children through interactive play, activities, reading, and encouraging their curious minds – supporting colleagues with each child’s development towards their key milestones.
