Nurture Teacher (with Nurture Lead Responsibility) - Maternity Cover

Location: Coulsdon, CR5
Contract Type: Fixed Term (Maternity Cover)
Working Hours: 38.5 hours per week
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm (One evening per week until 5:00pm for CPD)

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Nurture Teacher to join our dedicated team at our Coulsdon school on a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. This is a unique opportunity for a talented teacher to take on Nurture Lead responsibility within a supportive and inclusive SEND environment.

About the Role

As the Nurture Teacher and Lead, you will play a key role in shaping the academic, emotional, and social development of our students. You will lead the Nurture Faculty, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning, and will work closely with colleagues and families to create a positive and supportive educational experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Nurture Faculty, including staff coordination, curriculum planning, and tracking pupil progress.
  • Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons tailored to meet the needs of pupils.
  • Promote a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation, respect, and personal growth.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support development.
