Job summary

Oak Haven School in Heap Bridge, England, is recruiting a Nurture Teacher with a Technology Specialism to join our KS2–KS4 SEMH team on a permanent, full-time basis. You will deliver practical, project-based learning within our Nurture Pathway, building confidence and engagement through strong relationships and high expectations.

The successful candidate will combine a passion for SEMH with solid experience in Engineering, Construction or Multi-skills, delivering vocational and employability

Qualifications

Has strong practical knowledge and skills in Engineering, Construction, Multi-skills or a related area.
Is an outstanding or highly effective teacher.
Is passionate about working with young people with SEMH needs.
Can deliver engaging, practical and project-based learning.

Responsibilities

Teach within the Nurture Pathway and provide learners with consistency, structure and high-quality teaching.
Develop practical and vocational learning opportunities across Engineering, Construction and Multi-skills.
Create a calm, purposeful and engaging learning environment with high expectations.
