Are you a creative Teacher to looking for a new challenge?

Prospero Teaching are looking for a caring teacher to run a Nurture Group within a Specialist vibrant and supportive Secondary School based in Northenden, easily accessible to reach on public transport. The role is to start as soon as possible, and will run to the end of the academic year. The school caters for those with SEMH and complex needs.

The school are looking to appoint a passionate and enthusiastic class teacher who will join a dedicated team. We require a teacher with a passion for teaching and the ability to grow, nurture and develop children’s development and a range of strategies to maintain good behaviour management.

You will be running a small class of 6 year 10 students, who all work well together. You will be working alongside 2 TA’s, as one of the students has 1:1 support.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

  • Position – Nurture Group Teacher
  • Type of work – SEN Teacher
  • End date (if applicable) – July 2024
  • Contract type – Long term temp
  • Minimum rate of pay – Minimum rate £165 per day
  • Hours – 8:15 am – 4pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • QTS, PGCE or equivalent
  • Previous experience working in a UK school
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year is desirable but not essential as Prospero Teaching offer free a course.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references
