Job summary

Bromley Healthcare CIC is hiring a Nursing Rehabilitation Assistant to join the Home Pathway Rehabilitation Service in Orpington. The role focuses on supporting patients with daily living activities and personalised rehabilitation plans within a multi-disciplinary team.

The post offers full-time (37.5 hours) with flexible hours considered, a permanent contract, and a salary of £30,630–£32,346 with NHS terms. Driving is required; training will be provided.

We are currently seeking Nursing Rehab Assistants to join our dynamic and friendly team, who are patient-focused and thrive on providing quality care, to work within ourHome Pathway Rehabilitation Service.

You would be joining a multi-disciplinary team consisting of Rehabilitation Assistants, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Social Workers. Your role would be to assist patients with personal care and their activities of daily living, and help them with their rehabilitation.

Main duties of the job

This role will entail:

• Assisting patient with activities of daily living such as washing and dressing and meal preparation
• Rehabilitation in the form of home exercise plans

We are not looking for clinical qualifications: we’ll give you all the training you need. Additionally, we’ll give you all the support you need to advance and grow your career.

For this opportunity you will need a full UK driving licence and a vehicle that you are able to use for work purposes.

A healthcare/caring background & experience is essential. You should be willing to work towards the completion of the care certificate.

Qualifications
