Location: Reading, Berkshire
Salary: Up to £24.00 per hour
Hours: 12-hour shifts | Days or Nights | Full-Time or Part-Time

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a compassionate and experienced Nursing Home Nurse to join a well-established, highly rated nursing home in Reading, Berkshire. As a Nursing Home Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality clinical care to residents with complex needs, including dementia, frailty, and age-related conditions. The successful Nursing Home Nurse will work alongside a friendly and supportive multidisciplinary team to ensure residents receive the dignity, respect, and expert care they deserve.

Key Responsibilities:

  • As a Nursing Home Nurse, deliver safe and effective care in line with individual care plans.

  • Monitor and assess residents' health and well-being as part of your Nursing Home Nurse duties.

  • Administer medications and treatments with precision and care.

  • Work collaboratively with care staff to provide holistic care as a dedicated Nursing Home Nurse.

  • Uphold clinical standards and ensure compliance with CQC regulations as a Nursing Home Nurse.

  • Liaise with families, GPs, and allied professionals in your role as a Nursing Home Nurse.

  • Accurately maintain care records and follow safeguarding procedures, central to your role as a Nursing Home Nurse.

  • Guide, mentor, and support junior staff in your team as an experienced Nursing Home Nurse.

Requirements:

  • Active NMC PIN (RGN, RMN, or RNLD) – essential for all Nursing Home Nurse candidates

  • Previous experience in a nursing home setting preferred but not essential

  • Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills expected of a Nursing Home Nurse

  • Commitment to high standards of resident care – a must for any Nursing Home Nurse
