Job summary

Purosearch Ltd in Altrincham is seeking an experienced Nursing Home Manager (RGN/RMN preferred) to lead a well-established nursing home. You will be responsible for clinical, operational and financial performance, ensuring safe, high-quality, person-centred care and full CQC compliance.

Ideal candidate has proven leadership, a track record of improving care standards, managing budgets and occupancy, and building strong relationships with residents, families and local professionals.

Qualifications

• Experience as Nursing Home Manager or Care Home Manager in elderly care.
• NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent) or willingness to complete.
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and adult social care legislation.
• Proven leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience managing budgets, occupancy, and service performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and develop a multidisciplinary team.
• Ensure exceptional standards of nursing and residential care.
• Maintain full compliance with CQC regulations and quality standards.
• Manage staffing, budgets, occupancy, and overall home performance.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, and local stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement and prepare the home for inspections.
