Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Lead assessments, referrals, and care planning from inception.
  • Manage staff appraisals, rotas, and skill mix.
  • Oversee safeguarding, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Build strong relationships with residents, families, and the wider community.
  • Market the home and support occupancy growth.
  • Drive action plans and ensure high standards of care.
  • Support recruitment and retention strategies.
  • Liaise with CQC and local authorities.

Are you a nurse-qualified Nursing Home Manager ready to make a meaningful impact in care home management? We're seeking a dynamic Nursing Home Manager to lead our 39-bed service, which provides both residential and nursing care (currently a 50/50 split).

Recently acquired by a growing care group, this home is undergoing an exciting transformation-and we need someone with strong compliance and quality assurance skills to drive it forward.

What You'll Be Doing as a Nursing Home Manager here:

- Leading assessments, referrals, and care planning from inception

- Managing staff appraisals, rotas, and skill mix

- Overseeing safeguarding, risk management, and regulatory compliance

- Building strong relationships with residents, families, and the wider community

- Marketing the home and supporting occupancy growth

- Driving action plans and ensuring high standards of care

- Supporting recruitment and retention strategies

- Liaising with CQC and local authorities
