Job Description:
A permanent Turnaround Home Manager post has become available in a nursing home in Cheshire that specializes in providing care to the elderly.

Salary: £65,000 to £70,000 per annum OTE

Requirements:

1. Must have previous experience as a care home manager
2. Must have strong working knowledge of CQC
3. Turnaround experience
4. Nursing and dementia care to the elderly

The successful candidate will be required to ensure the smooth running of the home at all times and to provide the highest quality of care to the home's elderly residents, some of whom may suffer from dementia. Good communication skills, previous home management experience, and a passion for providing outstanding care are therefore essential.

Job requirements of the Home Manager:

1. Promote clinical and administrative arrangement, training, and care planning within the home
2. Organising and motivating the carers to ensure good standards of care are delivered
3. Maintain and monitor the health and welfare of residents
4. Liaising with other healthcare professionals (clients, GPs, and other multi-disciplinary team members)
5. Ensure CQC National Minimum Standards regulations are met to ensure the needs, welfare, and social inclusion of the residents are secured
6. Organising and attending regular staff meetings
7. Ensure the overall smooth, efficient, and effective running of the care home at all times

Skills / Qualifications Required:

1. Previous experience as a Home Manager
2. Must hold RMA / NVQ5 or equivalent
3. Must have valid NMC PIN
4. Must have troubleshooting and turnaround experience
5. Experience in budgeting and recruitment
6. Passion for elderly care
