Job Opportunity: Registered Manager

We are recruiting for a Registered Manager position at a small/medium Nursing Home for the Elderly.

Key Responsibilities of a Registered Manager:

1. Oversee the daily operations of the Nursing Home, ensuring standards, quality of care, recruitment, and training are maintained.
2. Conduct staff appraisals, hold meetings, and manage disciplinary procedures.
3. Coordinate with external Healthcare professionals regarding resident care.
4. Develop strong relationships with regional and operations directors.
5. Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements for the Registered Manager:

1. Registered with CQC.
2. At least 1 year of management experience in a Nursing Home setting.
3. Active NMC Pin preferred.
4. NVQ Level 4 or 5 in Management.
5. Experience working with the Elderly and Dementia patients.
6. Clinical skills.
7. Ability to lead teams, and improve service quality and performance.
8. Experience with staff appraisals, meetings, and disciplinary procedures.
9. Ability to liaise effectively with outside Healthcare professionals.
10. Commitment to following CQC and company policies.
11. Providing a high-quality work environment.
