We’re currently supporting a provider who is seeking a Nurse Qualified Manager to run their stable and high-performing Nursing Home! This is a well-established, family-run home with a strong focus on staff retention and high standards of care.

Key Responsibilities of a Nursing Home Manager:
  1. Provide strong leadership and management to ensure a well-run, high-quality nursing home.
  2. Maintain compliance with CQC standards, governance, and policies.
  3. Be people-focused, ensuring a supportive environment for both residents and staff.
  4. Develop and mentor staff, fostering a stable and long-term team.
  5. Ensure high-quality clinical care and excellent resident experience.
  6. Work closely with owners in this family-run, non-corporate setting.
  7. Oversee safeguarding, quality audits, and operational efficiency.
Nursing Home Manager Requirements:
  1. Nurse-qualified (RGN preferred, RMN considered).
  2. Experience as a Registered Manager (Deputies looking to step up may be considered).
  3. Strong understanding of CQC compliance, governance, and regulatory requirements.
  4. Proactive leadership style—not just a “fixer” but someone focused on long-term development.
  5. Excellent people skills, able to build positive relationships with staff, residents, and families.
  6. Strong organizational and decision-making abilities.
