We are collaborating with one of the UK's fastest-growing and top-performing healthcare providers to recruit a Nursing Home Manager for their challenging behaviours facility in Leicester. The home is well-staffed, with two units, each staffed with a nurse, a unit manager, and a team of HCAs. A clinical deputy is also available to assist you in managing the service.

This role requires extensive knowledge of mental health and challenging behaviours nursing, along with recent management experience.

Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and lead a team of care staff to ensure delivery of high-quality care services
2. Manage the daily operations of the nursing home, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation
3. Coordinate activities that promote residents' well-being
4. Support and guide staff in providing person-centred care
5. Monitor and manage residents' health needs, including medication administration
6. Implement dementia care best practices to support residents with memory loss
7. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and health and safety guidelines

Skills:

• Proven experience in nursing home management
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
• Knowledge of mental health care practices and medication administration
• Excellent communication skills with residents, families, and staff
