Qualifications

• 2-3 years of acute care nursing experience.
• Basic teaching skills/experience.
• Active participation on one or more School of Nursing Committees (Learning Resources, Admissions, Testing, Student Services, Program/Faculty Development).

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and evaluates the School of Nursing curriculum in assigned teaching areas.
• Facilitates achievement of program outcomes and the student learning outcomes consistent with the School of Nursing philosophy and accreditation standards.
• Plans theory content and prepares course outlines and schedules.
• Prepares theoretical content reflecting current nursing practice and literature.
• Implements theory content and presents it professionally.
• Evaluates theory content and clinical experiences using established criteria.
• Participates in planning, implementation, and evaluation of clinical experiences.
• Supervises students and participates in team meetings.
• Attends and participates in School of Nursing and Beebe Healthcare committees/programs.
