Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is seeking a Nursing Community Manager to lead a team of nurses and carers in delivering high-quality, person-centred care at our Weyhill home. You will work closely with the General Manager and multidisciplinary team to ensure care plans are current, medication is managed safely, and regulatory standards are upheld.

You will mentor colleagues, drive continuous improvement and promote best practice across the home, delivering compassionate leadership and excellent resident

Qualifications

• Current NMC registration and revalidation.
• At least two years' experience as a Registered Nurse within a clinical or social care setting.
• Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of regulatory requirements.
• Experience leading, mentoring and developing colleagues.
• Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
• A commitment to delivering compassionate, person-centred care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the delivery of clinical care within the community and ensure care plans are accurate and up to date.
• Manage medication safely and in line with regulations.
• Ensure regulatory standards are consistently achieved.
• Mentor and develop colleagues and promote best practice across the home.
• Lead a team of nurses and carers in delivering high-quality care that promotes dignity and independence.
