Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is seeking a Nursing Community Manager in Saltford to lead a team of nurses and carers, delivering high-quality, person-centred care across the home. You will use your clinical expertise and leadership to drive outcomes, mentor staff and work with the General Manager and wider team to support residents' wellbeing.

You'll oversee care plans, medication management and regulatory standards, promote best practice, and champion compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Current NMC registration and revalidation.
• At least two years' experience as a Registered Nurse within a clinical or social care setting.
• Experience leading, mentoring and developing colleagues.
• Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
• A commitment to delivering compassionate, person-centred care.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of nurses and carers to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
• Oversee clinical care delivery, ensuring care plans are up to date and medications are managed safely.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Nursing Community Manager at Barchester Healthcare, you'll use your clinical expertise and leadership skills to deliver outstanding care and support to our residents. Working closely with the General Manager, Deputy Manager and wider multidisciplinary team, you'll lead a team of nurses and carers to provide high-quality, person-centred care that promotes dignity, independence and wellbeing.

You’ll oversee the delivery of clinical care within your community, ensuring care plans are accurate and up to date, medication is managed safely and effectively, and regulatory standards are consistently achieved. You’ll also play a key role in mentoring and developing colleagues, supporting continuous improvement and promoting best practice across the home.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse who is passionate about leading teams, improving outcomes and making a genuine difference to residents’ lives every day.

ABOUT YOU

• Current NMC registration and revalidation
