Responsabilités

• Phlebotomy for patients under 16 with parental permission.
• B12 injections.
• Smoking cessation advice.
• ECG recording.
• BP checks.
• Assisting GPs in provision of equipment for minor procedures.
• Chaperoning duties.
• Processing and management of laboratory samples requested by GPs/Nurses.
• Vaccine/cold chain storage, monitoring and recording.
• Preparing and maintaining environments and equipment before, during and after patient care interventions including assisting GPs during minor operations.
• Assisting in assessment and surveillance of patient health and well-being.
• Raising awareness of health and well-being and how it can be promoted.
• Assisting with data collection related to health and well-being needs.
• Undertaking NHS health checks.
• Dressings, compression and minor wound care; suture removal and staples; diabetic checks; smears.
