Job summary

Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust advertises Nursing Associate roles on Hollingworth Ward (male) and Moorside Ward (female) at Birch Hill Hospital, Wardle near Rochdale. These permanent, full-time posts offer 37.5 hours weekly with a salary of £28,392–£31,157 per year (pro rata).

You will work with a multi-disciplinary team, contribute to patient assessment, and provide/monitor care in line with service pathways under supervising clinicians.

Qualifications

• Registered Nursing Associate on the NMC Register with a Foundation Degree.
• GCSEs Grade C or above in Maths and English Language or New GCSE Grade 4-9 in Maths and English Language or Equivalent (not entry level 2).
• Experience of working in teams under appropriate supervision as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Experience of providing and receiving complex, sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of a registered nurse, provide and deliver high standard of nursing care.
• Provide compassionate, safe and effective care and support to patients.
• Prioritise and manage own workload, delegating where appropriate to colleagues.
• Involve with admission and discharge planning with the multi-disciplinary team.

Education
