Job Overview

Due to our outpatients services developing and increasing we have our first Band 4 Secondment position available within our Gynaecology outpatient services,

This role requires the successful candidate to work in our gynaecology outpatients units. This will include working in clinics across site at PRH, RSH and Apley Clinic.

On successful appointment to this post, you will be supported in your role with a period of supernumerary practice across both areas.

Main duties of the job

• This role involves giving safe, kind, and effective care to people in different settings.
• You will check people's health, give medicines, and notice when their needs change.
• You will work closely with nurses and other staff, sharing information and helping to plan care.
• You will support and guide less experienced team members while keeping people's safety, dignity, and wellbeing at the centre of your work.
• You will act professionally, follow the Nursing and Midwifery Code, and keep learning to build your skills.

Our Service will relocate to The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital in 2028 as part of HTP. This move will bring specialist services together in a modern, purpose-built facility to improve patient care and team experience.

We are actively recruiting, and successful candidates will be expected to move with the Service in early 2028. The relocation will follow a formal management of change process, including full consultation and support for staff.
