Job description

The post holder will be expected at all times to work within the NMC Standards of Proficiency for Nursing Associates to meet the individual needs of the designated patient population. The post holder will be accountable to the registered nurse in charge of the ward/department for delivering nursing care to a specific group of patients. They will organize their own time and that of junior staff, delegate tasks to junior staff and learners, and participate in teaching and education programmes for staff and patients.

Job Role

We require a Band 4 Associate Practitioner to work independently under the guidance and direction of a Registered Nurse to provide efficient, effective, and evidence-based nursing care to patients in their own homes. Candidates must have a Foundation Degree in Healthcare Practice/Adult Care, along with excellent clinical, communication, and team-working skills. Experience working in a Community Team is desirable.
