The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Nursing Associate for AMU at The Hillingdon Hospital in Uxbridge. The role provides high quality clinical care, takes delegated responsibility from the Nurse in Charge, and works within NMC regulations and trust policies.
You will support less experienced staff, supervise learners, and develop nursing skills while upholding ethical and medico-legal standards.

Job summary
Provides high quality clinical care to patients, in line with the trust values and in accordance with professional regulations.
Accepts delegated responsibility from the Nurse in Charge, for the care of a specific group of patients.
Works in line with trust policies, objectives, protocols and local guidelines and in accordance with NMC regulations.
Works as part of a team to provide high quality, evidence based clinical care to patients and their carers.
Communicates in accordance with trust values at all times with patients, carers and other staff members.
Undertakes opportunities to develop and expand their nursing skills, acting as a supervisor for Nurse associate's in training, Health Care Support Workers and Student Nurses.
Maintains high standards of professional responsibility and accountability and have an awareness of the ethical and medico-legal aspects of nursing in line with NMC regulations and local guidance.

The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is the only acute Hospital in the London Borough of Hillingdon and offers a wide range of services including accident and emergency, inpatient care, day surgery, outpatient clinics and maternity services. The Trust's services at Mount Vernon Hospital include routine day surgery, delivered at a modern treatment centre, a minor injuries unit and outpatient clinics.
