The post holder will collaborate with Community Nurses and Adult Social Care staff to provide excellent service to Stockport residents.
We seek a flexible, innovative Nurse Associate practitioner with diverse clinical skills. The District Nursing Service provides care in patients' homes and residential settings, caring for patients with complex needs and supporting carers.

The post holder should possess good organizational and assessment skills, be flexible, and willing to cover shifts between 8 am and 6 pm, 7 days a week. You may be asked to assist in a busy treatment room when needed.
This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, adaptability, reliability, and approachability. You must demonstrate current knowledge of relevant nursing issues and understanding of the Stockport Primary Care Network and service integration. The post involves lone working, and you must be a driver with a vehicle available for work.

If appointed, an enhanced DBS check costing £54.50 will be required, with the fee deducted from your salary. Additionally, you must join the DBS update service and pay an annual fee of £16.
This role is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975. A DBS check will be required to verify any criminal convictions.
