An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Nursing Associate to work in the Stamford Adult Community Mental Health Team.
The role will be part of an integrated health/social care team providing care for people experiencing severe and enduring mental health problems in the local community. The post will offer nursing interventions in a wide variety of clinical, therapeutic and social forms with the aim of promoting health, wellbeing, self-autonomy and independence. Stamford CMHT are part of the developing transformation service in our local area. The post holders will be required to work effectively as part of the multidisciplinary team in the delivery of high quality mental health care planning and risk management. This work will involve patients and their carers in the delivery of evidence based interventions/treatments, recovery focused work. The post holder will have a breadth of knowledge across the lifespan and across the fields of nursing, providing holistic and person centred care and support within the adult community setting. The nursing associate will work independently under the leadership of the registered nurse, working within the sphere of nursing and care and within all aspects of the nursing process.
Experience in working in a mental health setting is essential.
