Job description

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated individual to join our acute medical admissions team on Ward 3 at Northumbria.

About the Team

The team provides high standard and safe care to all patients suffering from acute medical illnesses. Our specialties include toxicology, endocrinology, head injury, neurology, and mental health.

Candidate Requirements
  • Must demonstrate compassion and caring towards patients and be able to deliver high standards of care.
  • Possess good communication and organisational skills.
  • Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and night shifts, to meet service needs.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting is desirable.
  • Undertakes a range of delegated clinical care duties in hospital, community, and other settings.
  • Records patient observations and monitors changes in clinical conditions.
  • Performs limited clinical care duties as required.
