An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Emergency Gynae Unit for a Band 2/3 Nursing Assistant. We are part of Saint Mary's Managed Clinical Service and are based on the Wythenshawe site.
We care for ladies experiencing problems in early pregnancy and gynaelogical issues that require immediate attention.
You will receive a comprehensive induction into our department and service, with time to attend training and work with an experienced team member.
You will provide direct patient care, assisting with all aspects of their daily needs.
You will have the opportunity to develop basic nursing skills such as ECG recording, venepuncture, cannulation, and taking and recording clinical observations.
This unit operates 24 hours and involves weekend and night shifts.
