Job summary

Nursery Third In Charge in Wandsworth - Family-Run Nursery Group

£35,000 salary

Location: Wandsworth, SW18, London

Working pattern: Full-time hours across a 4-day week, giving you 3 days off every week

They're looking for an experienced Third in Charge to take on the Health & Safety Lead role within their Wandsworth nursery setting, supporting the Nursery Manager and Deputy Manager and stepping up as designated leader in their absence.

Key responsibilities:

• Health and safety: Leading on safety, compliance and risk management across the nursery.

• Leadership support: Supporting the Nursery Manager and Deputy Manager, and stepping up as designated leader when required.

• Staff and curriculum support: Supporting staff across rooms, contributing to curriculum delivery, and maintaining strong parent communication.

About you:

• Experienced: Experience working as a room leader in a nursery setting.

• Qualified: Level 3 CACHE/NVQ in Childcare or equivalent, with a higher qualification desirable.

• Knowledgeable: A good understanding of safeguarding and health & safety requirements, and confident supporting and leading colleagues.
