Job summary

Footsteps Nursery Stafford, part of the Family First Group, is seeking a Nursery Third in Charge to lead a caring team and support children’s learning in a safe, engaging environment.

You’ll mentor staff, uphold EYFS and safeguarding, build partnerships with parents, and ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations with a focus on development and teamwork.

The role offers 40 hours per week, £31,200 per year, 33 days holiday, a 75% childcare discount, DBS paid for, and a warm, supportive culture.

The Role

As a Nursery Thirdin Charge, you’ll help children learn, play, and grow in a safe,engaging environment. You will:

• Support thenursery leadership team by leading through positive rolemodelling and maintaining high standards.
• Guide anddevelop staff through coaching, supervision and teamcollaboration.
• Build strongpartnerships with parents and carers through effectivecommunication and support.
• Help maintainstaffing, ratios and the smooth day-to-day running of thenursery.
