Job summary

Family First’s The Hammersmith Day Nursery and Preschool seeks a dedicated Nursery Third in Charge. You will support the leadership team, model best practice, and guide staff to deliver high-quality care for children.

You’ll collaborate with parents, ensure safe EYFS practices, and help manage staffing and daily operations in a nurturing setting. The role offers flexible options and opportunities for growth within the Family First Group.

Qualifications

• Experience in an Early Years setting.
• Knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding best practices.
• Confident written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Lead through positive role modelling and maintain high standards within the nursery leadership team.
• Coach, supervise and develop staff through team collaboration.
• Build strong partnerships with parents and carers through effective communication and support.
• Help maintain staffing, ratios and the smooth day-to-day running of the nursery.

The Role

As a Nursery Thirdin Charge, you’ll help children learn, play, and grow in a safe,engaging environment. You will:
