Job summary

Toad Hall Nursery Group in Haslemere is seeking a Nursery Team Leader for a maternity cover role up to 12 months. The position is fixed-term, 40 hours per week, with a salary of up to £31,886.40 per annum. You will lead a team, ensure EYFS delivery, and uphold safeguarding and health & safety standards.

Applicants should hold a full Early Years qualification (Level 3+), have strong EYFS/Ofsted knowledge, and proven people-management experience. DBS required and equal opportunities respected.

Qualifications

• A full and relevant Early Years qualification - Level 3 or above.
• Excellent working knowledge of the EYFS and the Ofsted inspection framework.
• Experience of people management and dealing with employee issues.
• Comprehensive understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Working knowledge of employment legislation including equal opportunities legislation.
• Fully trained in safeguarding and paediatric first aid.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring that the EYFS is implemented and followed throughout the team to an exemplary standard.
• Providing day-to-day leadership and management for the team and staff across the nursery as required.
• Assisting in the effective use of social media and other marketing activities as required.
