Nursery Teaching Assistant

Newstaff is looking for dedicated and passionate Nursery Assistants to join our team!

We need experienced Nursery Assistants to work as supply cover Nursery Nurses in Early Years settings across Leighton Buzzard. There will be opportunities for daily, weekly, short-term, or long-term assignments, some of which may lead to permanent contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting the class teacher in the teaching and daily operations of the Nursery setting.
• Supporting children individually or in small groups with their learning journeys, providing guidance and encouragement.
• Helping with activities and play-based learning opportunities.
• Collaborating with the class teacher and colleagues to create a safe and inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued and supported.
• Providing feedback to the class teacher on children’s progress and any concerns observed during interactions.
