Duties as a Nursery Teaching Assistant:

Support the class teacher and nursery staff in daily activities and routines

Assist with the planning and delivery of engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences

Help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming learning space

Monitor and record children’s progress and wellbeing

Ideal Nursery Teaching Assistant:

Experience working with children in an Early Years setting

A relevant childcare qualification (e.g. Level 2/3 in Childcare or Early Years) – desirable but not essential

A warm, patient, and positive approach

Good communication and teamwork skills as a Nursery Teaching Assistant.
