Duties Nursery Teaching Assistant:

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging early years activities.

• Help create a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment for all children.

• Assist with personal care and daily routines, including mealtimes and toileting.

• Encourage children's social, emotional, and language development through play.

• Observe and record children's progress in line with the EYFS framework.

• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

Ideal Nursery Teaching Assistant:

• Relevant Level 2 or 3 childcare qualification (e.g. CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent).

• Experience working with children aged 2–5 (desirable).

• A nurturing, patient and enthusiastic approach.

• Good communication and teamwork skills as a Nursery Teaching Assistant.

• A current enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
