Job summary

Starbank - Bierton Road (Primary) in Birmingham is seeking an exceptional Early Years Practitioner to work with the class teacher to deliver an ambitious EYFS curriculum through purposeful play and strong routines. You’ll support young learners aged 3–5 years and contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment.

The ideal candidate will hold Level 3 EYFS qualifications, have nursery/ EYFS experience, and possess a solid understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Early Years qualification recognised by the Department for Education (e.g. Level 3 NVQ in Children's Care, Learning and Development).
• Experience of working with children aged 3–5 years.
• Experience within a Nursery or Early Years setting.
• Strong understanding of child development from ages 3–5 years.
• Good knowledge of the EYFS Framework and Development Matters guidance.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored support to our pupils to enable an outstanding learning environment.
• Support learning and teaching and develop relationships across our school and the Star community.
• Deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum through purposeful play, high-quality interactions and strong routines.
