This is an exciting opportunity to work in a vibrant early years setting, providing high-quality education and care for young children in their crucial early years of development.

The Role:

  • Planning and delivering stimulating, play-based learning experiences that support children’s development across all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Supporting children in their social, emotional, and cognitive development, fostering independence and preparing them for the transition into Reception.
  • Creating a positive, safe, and nurturing environment, ensuring children feel secure, valued, and ready to explore.
  • Collaborating with other Nursery staff to plan, assess, and deliver engaging activities that meet the needs of every child.
  • Regularly assessing children’s progress, setting individual targets, and providing constructive feedback to parents and the wider team.
  • Encouraging the involvement of parents in their child’s learning, maintaining regular communication and building positive relationships.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a relevant early years qualification (e.g., EYTS, Level 3 in Childcare and Education).
  • Experience teaching in a Nursery or Early Years setting, with a strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
  • Passionate about early years education and creating engaging, inclusive learning experiences for young children.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • A creative and energetic approach to teaching, with the ability to inspire young learners.
  • A caring and compassionate individual who is dedicated to providing the best possible start in education for children.
What the School Offers:
  • A permanent, full-time role in a well-respected school in Harrow, offering a fantastic early years provision.
  • A supportive team of experienced early years educators, providing guidance and collaboration.
  • Ongoing professional development and training opportunities tailored to your career growth.
  • A nurturing, inclusive environment, with a focus on the well-being of both students and staff.
  • Competitive salary and benefits package, in line with experience and qualifications.
