Job description

A fantastic opportunity has become available to work for a private day nursery in the Belsize Park, NW3 area of London as a Nursery Teacher / Early Years Educator.

This is a full time position working Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week.

Various shift patterns are available.

Nursery opens 8am - 6pm Monday-Thursday and 8am - 2pm on Friday.

Up to 45 days paid holidays.

You will provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for all children in your care and be part of a supportive team, with access to excellent resources.

Requirements:

  1. Experience of working with children in a nursery/private day care setting as a practitioner.
  2. A relevant childcare qualification (Minimum NNEB, NVQ/Diploma level 3) or above or equivalent.
  3. Strong knowledge of the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage).
  4. An excellent understanding of safeguarding / knowledge of child protection procedures.
  5. Good communication skills, approachable, confident and caring with a passion for working with children.
  6. Excellent team player.

From Level 3: £27,500 up to £30,000 for QTS.
