Job summary

Teaching Tomorrow in Oxford is seeking a Nursery Teacher to join the Early Years team for the Summer Term. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the EYFS framework and create a safe, inclusive learning environment for the youngest learners.

The role involves monitoring progress, supporting social, emotional and academic development through play, and collaborating with support staff to ensure high standards of care and education for every child.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching within Early Years or Nursery settings.
• A nurturing and patient approach to teaching.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• A passion for supporting young children's development.

Teaching Tomorrow is working with a welcoming primary school in Oxford that is seeking a Nursery Teacher to join their Early Years team for the Summer Term.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and nurturing teacher to support children at the very beginning of their educational journey within a supportive and engaging nursery environment.

The Role

Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum

Creating a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment

Supporting children’s social, emotional and academic development through play-based learning

Working closely with support staff and the wider Early Years team

Monitoring and assessing children’s progress

The Ideal Candidate

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Experience teaching within Early Years or Nursery settings

A nurturing and patient approach to teaching

Strong classroom management and communication skills

A passion for supporting young children’s development
