Role Overview:

  • Position: Nursery Teacher
  • Location: Lambeth
  • Start Date: April or September
  • Contract: Full-Time / Temporary to Permanent
  • Salary: M1 - M4 £38,000 - £44,000 per annum (Dependent on experience)

About You:

  • HoldsQualified Teacher Status (QTS)or an equivalent Early Years qualification.
  • Has experience working in anEarly Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)setting.
  • Is passionate aboutearly childhood developmentand creating engaging learning experiences.
  • Has a strong understanding ofEYFS curriculum, phonics, and child-led learning approaches.
  • Can create anurturing and stimulating learning environmentwhere children feel safe, valued, and encouraged.
  • Works well as part of a team, collaborating withTeaching Assistants, SENCOs, and parentsto support children's development.
  • Is adaptable, proactive, and able to differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with theEYFS curriculum.
  • Foster a love of learning throughplay-based and structured activities.
  • Assess and track children’s progress, identifying areas for development and support.
  • Support children'ssocial, emotional, and language development.
  • Work closely withparents and carers, providing updates on children’s progress.
  • Ensure asafe, inclusive, and welcoming classroom environmentfor all children.
