Job description

This school is seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Teacher to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to support and nurture young children in their early years of learning. This role begins September 2025.

Duties as a Nursery Teacher:
  1. Plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  2. Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment that supports children’s development.
  3. Observe and assess children's progress, keeping accurate records and communicating with parents/carers.
  4. Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide a high standard of care and education.
  5. Promote positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.
Ideal Nursery Teacher:
  1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS), or an equivalent qualification.
  2. Experience working within Early Years (desirable but not essential).
  3. A passion for early childhood education and child development.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as a Nursery Teacher.
  5. A warm, caring, and patient approach to working with young children.
