Tradewind are currently seeking an enthusiastic and supportive Nursery Teacher to join the team at an incredible established nursery in Harlow, where you will help create a safe and nurturing environment for their youngest learners. This nursery focuses on creating a positive, enabling environment.
Role Overview: As a Nursery Teacher you will play a crucial role in the early childhood development of young children, typically ages 3 to 4. The role focuses on creating a safe, nurturing, and educational environment. This is a pivotal stage in early childhood development, and you will play an integral role in supporting the children's emotional, social, and cognitive development through play-based learning. You will work closely with the all the EYFS team to ensure clear progression from toddler all the way through to reception.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality and engaging learning opportunities for children 3-4 years old, in a warm and nurturing environment
Observe and support the development of young children through play and age-appropriate activities
Create and maintain detailed records of children's progress and development
Work closely with parents to ensure the needs of each child are met and share regular updates on their development
Ensure the safety and well-being of the children at all times
Follow safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment
Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating nursery room that supports the children's learning
Requirements:
Must hold a Qualified Teacher Status
Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
Empathetic and open minded approach to working with families
A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their early development
Ability to observe, assess, and plan activities for young children to help their growth
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
