Duties as a Nursery Teacher:

1. Plan and deliver high-quality, play-based learning experiences following the EYFS framework
2. Support the personal, social, and emotional development of each child
3. Monitor and assess progress through observations and learning journals
4. Create an engaging, well-organised, and safe learning environment
5. Work in close partnership with parents, carers, and your team
6. Promote independence, kindness, and a love of learning

Ideal Nursery Teacher:

1. QTS, EYTS or an equivalent recognised Early Years qualification
2. Experience teaching in a nursery or early years setting
3. A strong understanding of the EYFS and child development
4. Creative, flexible, and reflective practice
5. Excellent communication and teamwork skills as a Nursery Teacher
6. A genuine passion for working with young children
7. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
