Responsibilities
  • Planning and implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities to promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
  • Creating a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment where children feel valued and respected.
  • Observing and assessing children progress, identifying individual needs, and adapting teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Building positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues, fostering a sense of community and collaboration.
  • Collaborating with parents and caregivers to support children learning and development at home and in the classroom.
  • Maintaining accurate records of children progress, attendance, and behaviour, and communicating effectively with relevant stakeholders.
  • Participating in professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in early childhood education.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience working with young children in a nursery or early years setting.
  • Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
