We are seeking a warm, respectful and reflective nursery teacher to join our small, homelike centre for infants aged 0–2 years. Inspired by the RIE philosophy, our environment is intentionally calm, unhurried and relationship-focused.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a team that truly honours respectful, responsive care and values the natural capabilities of every child. Our centre provides a small, peaceful nursery space that feels like home—for both tamariki and teachers.

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold ECE qualification (minimum) and current NZ teacher registration
• Have knowledge of, or genuine interest in, the RIE philosophy and its application in daily practice
• Be passionate about working in a small nursery setting
• Demonstrate strong communication skills and a commitment to building respectful partnerships with whānau
• Bring a calm, reflective, and nurturing approach to teaching
