Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 in Early Years/Childcare is essential.
• Proven experience supporting children with a range of needs.
• Deep understanding of the EYFS Framework and SEND Code of Practice.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operation of the nursery’s SEND policy.
• Lead the Assess, Plan, Do, Review cycle for children with additional needs.
• Mentor and train practitioners to identify early signs of SEND.
• Act as the primary contact for external professionals.
• Work closely with families on the EHCP application process.
