MiChild Group's Echoes Day Nursery in Manchester is seeking an Experienced Room Manager / Room Leader for a full-time role (40 hours per week) in a welcoming city-centre setting.

The successful candidate will lead a room, apply Level 3 EYFS knowledge, safeguard practices, and support children’s development with a warm, inclusive approach. MiChild offers competitive pay and attractive benefits.

About Echoes Day Nursery

Echoes Day Nursery, proudly rated “Good” by Ofsted, has a capacity of 85 children and has been part of the MiChild family since 2020. Situated in the heart of Manchester City Centre, we serve a diverse variety of families with dedication and warmth. Our nursery boasts 5 spacious playrooms with a calm and nurturing feel and large enclosed outdoor area that enables our children and staff to explore the outdoors despite being in a city centre location. At Echoes we are proud to celebrate the diversity present in our staff body and families and we have recently been recognising by Manchester City Council for 'Advancing Race and Equality in Early Years'.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experienced Room Leader with a Level 3 Early Years qualification (UK equivalent)
• Has a strong understanding of the EYFS and child development, able to provide high quality care and learning opportunities for all
• Demonstrates robust safeguarding knowledge and awareness
• Experience in creating a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment
• Confident leading a room, with excellent communication skills
• This is a full time position, 40 hours per week
