MiChild Group is hiring an Early Years Educator for Echoes Day Nursery in Manchester, working Tue, Wed and Thu. Salary is from £12.80 to £13.25 per hour. Join a supportive team within a Good Ofsted nursery, with progression and development opportunities.

You will apply EYFS principles, safeguarding practices and engage with families to provide high-quality care and education for every child.

Qualifications

• UK recognised Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification.
• Solid understanding of EYFS and child development principles.
• Robust safeguarding knowledge and awareness.
• Confident communicator with parents and staff.

About Echoes Day Nursery

Echoes Day Nursery, proudly rated “Good” by Ofsted, has a capacity of 85 children and has been part of the MiChild family since 2020. Situated in the heart of Manchester City Centre, we serve a diverse variety of families with dedication and warmth. Our nursery boasts 5 spacious playrooms with a calm, nurturing feel, and a large enclosed outdoor area that enables our children and staff to explore the outdoors despite our city centre location. At Echoes, we are proud to celebrate the diversity present in our staff body and families, and we have recently been recognised by Manchester City Council for ’Advancing Race and Equality in Early Years’.

What We’re Looking For:

• A full and relevant Level 2 Early Years of Level 3 Early Years qualification (UK recognised)*, demonstrating a good foundation in early childhood education
• Strong understanding of the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) and child development, able to apply key principles to create enriching learning experiences tailored to each child’s unique needs
• Demonstrates robust safeguarding knowledge and awareness, ensuring a safe, secure environment where children are protected and supported in their wellbeing
• Confident communicator, able to engage with parents and staff
• Passionate about inspiring little minds and providing the best possible care and education to all children

** This position is all year round, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday**
