Job summary

N Family Club Weybridge is recruiting a Room Manager to lead an expert team of Educators in a vibrant 55-place nursery in Weybridge, Surrey. You'll drive our 'learning through play' ethos and the N Curriculum, inspiring outstanding care and education every day.

You’ll coach your team, plan high-quality learning experiences for each child, and uphold safeguarding and health-and-safety standards while partnering closely with parents.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children in an educational setting (ideally as a Room Leader, Third in Charge, or nursery practitioner)
• For Baby Room Managers, previous experience with children under 2
• Experience in leading and coaching a team
• Background in delivering consistent and excellent customer service
• Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above)
• Paediatric First Aid (12 hours) and commitment to ongoing compliance
• Safeguarding/child protection training with willingness to update regularly
• Genuine passion for education and changing children’s lives
• Positive, glass‑half‑full outlook
• Drive and motivation with a ‘make it happen’ attitude
• Solid decision‑making to support and achieve WIGs (Wildly Important Goals)

• Embed and role‑model our safeguarding, health and safety, and wellbeing standards across your room.

Our Room Managers should have...

• Previous experience working with children in an educational setting (ideally as a Room Leader, Third in Charge, or nursery practitioner, nursery nurse, or early years educator).
• For Baby Room Managers, you will need previous experience working with children under 2.
• Experience in leading and coaching a team.
• A background in leading consistent and exceptional customer service.
• Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above).
• Paediatric First Aid (12 hours) and a commitment to remain compliant.
• Relevant safeguarding/child protection training and be willing to update that training regularly.
• A genuine passion for education and changing the lives of children.
• A positive, glass‑half‑full outlook.
