Job summary

N Family Club in Twickenham West, London, is seeking a Nursery Room Manager to lead a team of Educators in a vibrant early years setting. You will drive the N Curriculum and the 'learning through play' ethos, delivering outstanding care and teaching across your room.

As part of a fast-paced, growing group, you will shape daily routines, coach staff, and build strong relationships with parents while ensuring safeguarding and wellbeing standards are met every day.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an educational setting (Room Leader or similar).
• For Baby Room Managers, experience with under-2 children.
• Experience in leading and coaching a team.
• Background in delivering outstanding customer service.
• Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above).
• Paediatric First Aid (12 hours) and compliance.
• Safeguarding/child protection training and willingness to update.
• Genuine passion for education and changing children's lives.
• Positive, glass-half-full outlook.
• Strong drive and 'make it happen' attitude.

As a Room Manager at N Family, you’ll lead an incredible team of expert Educators in one of our nursery family rooms. Your key responsibilities

• Lead our ‘learning through play’ ethos and our N Curriculum with care and flair.
• Be a role model for outstanding care and education, inspiring your team to bring their best every day.
• Champion continuous improvement, keeping practice fresh, creative, and Outstandingly Outstanding.
• Shape the daily routine of your room, ensuring smooth transitions from mealtimes to naptimes to playtimes.
• Support your team to plan, observe, and deliver high-quality learning experiences tailored to every child.
• Coach, guide, and motivate your team through regular feedback and professional development.
• Build strong, trusting relationships with parents and keep them involved in their children’s learning.
• Embed and role-model our safeguarding, health and safety, and wellbeing standards across your room.

Our Room Managers should have...

• Previous experience working with children in an educational setting (ideally as a Room Leader, Third in Charge, or nursery practitioner, nursery nurse, or early years educator).
• For Baby Room Managers, you will need previous experience working with children under 2.
• Experience in leading and coaching a team.
• A background in leading consistent and exceptional customer service.
• Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above).
• Paediatric First Aid (12 hours) and a commitment to remain compliant.
• Relevant safeguarding/child protection training and be willing to update that training regularly.
• A genuine passion for education and changing the lives of children.
• A positive, glass-half-full outlook.

• A solid decision-maker with the ability to support and achieve our WIGs (Wildly Important Goals).
