Salary: £100 - £140 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with an expanding school nursery in Wideopen. The nursery is well sought-after, due to its outdoor forest area, and boasts an ‘good’ OFSTED rating. It focuses on providing high standards of physical, emotional, social, and intellectual care, whilst utilising effective pedagogical approaches to ensure well-rounded individuals are prepared for their next adventure – Primary School.

We are looking for a Room Leader to join on a long-term basis with the opportunity to go permanent for the right candidate. The nursery caters for children aged 9 months to 3 years. You will need to be confident in formulating and implementing a program of activities suitable for the children attending, in conjunction with the Headteacher. A strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum is essential. The right Room Leader will also demonstrate confidence in observations, age and stage checks, and updating learning plans regularly.

The successful candidate will have:

• Level 3 Early Years or equivalent qualification (required)
• Minimum 1 year’s experience in nurseries / room leading
• Reliability and a ‘can-do’ attitude
• Adaptability and flexibility
