Nursery Room Leader

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Room Leader with 3 years' experience to join a well-established nursery and childcare provider.

This full-time role offers excellent benefits and a salary of £24,600.

As a Room Leader, you will be leading the preschool room, promoting a creative, supportive, and engaging learning environment for young children.

You will be responsible for:

1. Planning and delivering age-appropriate activities in line with EYFS.
2. Monitoring children's development and communicating progress to families.
3. Supporting and mentoring nursery staff to ensure consistent quality of care.
4. Maintaining a high standard of organisation and hygiene in the learning space.
5. Ensuring safeguarding and health & safety policies are always upheld.

What we are looking for:

1. Previous experience as a Room Leader, Third in Charge, Deputy Manager, Assistant Room Manager, Senior Nursery Nurse, or similar role.
2. At least 3 years' experience in nursery and childcare settings, with 1 year in a leadership role.
3. Level 3 qualification.
4. Hold a First Aid certification or be working towards it.
5. Understanding of child development principles and practices.
6. Enhanced DBS check.
