Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Room Leader to join a well-regarded provider of early years education and childcare services, operating a network of nursery settings across the region.

As a Room Leader, you will be leading the preschool room, promoting a creative, supportive, and engaging learning environment for young children.

This full-time role offers excellent benefits and a salary of GBP25,250. They are looking for multiple candidates.

You will be responsible for:

• Planning and delivering age-appropriate activities in line with EYFS.
• Monitoring children's development and communicating progress to families.
• Supporting and mentoring nursery staff to ensure consistent quality of care.
• Maintaining a high standard of organisation and hygiene in the learning space.
• Ensuring safeguarding and health & safety policies are always upheld.

What we are looking for:

• Previous experience as a Room Leader, Third in Charge, Deputy Manager, Assistant Room Manager, Senior Nursery Nurse, or similar role.
• Level 3 qualification.
• Understanding of child development principles and practices.
• Familiarity with regulatory inspection standards (such as OFSTED).
• Passion for providing exceptional childcare and inspiring a love for learning.
